A Seasoned View: Unions or Not

http://aseasonedview.blogspot.com/2011/10/unions-or-not.html

This is a collection of ramblings about life and politics in their varied aspects, the good and the bad. I welcome all comments. Civil discourse is sorely needed in this day and age. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Among many Conservatives unions are viewed about as favorably as a diagnosis of cancer. Progressives on the other hand seem to believe that unionism is akin to Manna from above. Neither extreme is accurate in my opinion. The Unions have taken a beating in the Right leaning. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Where Do We Want To Live! Let's take a group of very early humans that have formed a tribe for their mutual benefit. How can they benefit from this association? After stating the obvious let's ask ourselves, given that we all know that the transcontinental railway system could have never been built by allowing the population to operate under the ". It all just disappeared into thin air? Where do you want to go? Do you really want to turn things over to people that are tellin...

The World According To Butch Trucks: You Have To Read This One!

http://thebutchtrucks.blogspot.com/2011/09/you-have-to-read-this-one.html

Saturday, September 17, 2011. You Have To Read This One! Where I had to stop and read what Cal Thomas wrote several times before I could even believe what I was reading was in a section where he was saying that he agreed with Ron Paul: that we should assume responsibility for ourselves and then went on to write about instances of people assuming responsibility for the needy. He said he was "intrigued by a story he read last month in London's Sunday Times. CAN'T THEY BE ASKED TO DO MORE TO HELP OTHERS?

The World According To Butch Trucks: Racism, Niggerhead Ranch and the ABB

http://thebutchtrucks.blogspot.com/2011/10/racism-niggerhead-ranch-and-abb.html

Saturday, October 8, 2011. Racism, Niggerhead Ranch and the ABB. Been a while since I have posted. I guess it's a combination of being busy and trying to find a subject that needs my attention. I keep waiting for this Occupy Wall Street. This week there was an incident that Hit The Note. With me. A Seasoned Kitchen

Thursday, July 1, 2010. The most recent couple of times I noticed that peanut butter was making something taste better, I chalked it up to coincidence and the fact that it had the term butter in the title. Could this be mere chance? Mixed Vegetables with Asian Peanut Dressing. 2 bone in skin on chicken breasts.
