A Season on the Labyrinth: Pagan, Pantheist, or just Rock Lover?
http://aseasononthelabyrinth.blogspot.com/2009/09/pagan-pantheist-or-just-rock-lover.html
A Season on the Labyrinth. Taking to the Labyrinth to Learn About Life. Thursday, September 3, 2009. Pagan, Pantheist, or just Rock Lover? Day 3, September 3rd, 2009. Another beautiful morning, before a busy day. I kept wondering, as I looked affectionately at the rocks, if my powerful attachment to the natural world makes me a pagan, or a pantheist? Our word "pagan", which is loaded with negative connotations, comes from the Latin "paganus", which means "country dweller." And that I am. Rock of the Day.
A Season on the Labyrinth: Guest Labyrinth!

A Season on the Labyrinth. Taking to the Labyrinth to Learn About Life. Sunday, September 6, 2009. Day 6, September 6, 2009. Out to dinner tonight, I realized I was not far from a friend's church, St. Barnabas, in Norwich, Vermont, and they have a lovely outdoor labyrinth. Seemed like a bonus to celebrate my first week of walks by introducing a "guest labyrinth.". What is it about dusk that heightens spiritual experience? The center was surprisingly large- roomy even- and surrounded by lavender. My f...
A Season on the Labyrinth: Day of Interconnectedness

A Season on the Labyrinth. Taking to the Labyrinth to Learn About Life. Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Day 8, September 9, 2009 (09/09/09). It was 8:56 when I stepped onto the Labyrinth this morning, and it was about 58 degrees, and oddly foggy/overcast. See how flat the light is? Almost no shadows whatsoever. Couldn't resist taking this picture either:. I really just relaxed and was able to tune in to my breathing this morning, and gently push thoughts away. Whew- nice! Rock of the Day. Are you a walker ...
A Season on the Labyrinth: A New Beginning!
http://aseasononthelabyrinth.blogspot.com/2009/09/new-beginning.html
A Season on the Labyrinth. Taking to the Labyrinth to Learn About Life. Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Greetings from rural New Hampshire, where on this beautiful September 1st, it is chilly and sunny. Like most folks I know, I spend too much time sitting, and not enough moving, too much time thinking and do-ing, and not enough meditating and be-ing, too much time talking, and not enough time listening. So, without further ado. Day 1, September 1st, 2009. Seems like yesterday it was the 4th of July. That is...
A Season on the Labyrinth: Life Breaks Out!

A Season on the Labyrinth. Taking to the Labyrinth to Learn About Life. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Day 7, September 8, 2009. This morning's walk was amazing. but wait! Perhaps you noticed I didn't post yesterday? I kept assuming I would do my walk, and the day got away from me. Isn't it amazing how those "angels" or "demons" on our shoulders work on us? Suddenly these voices were saying that I had to do this every day or "fail"! Huh Where does that kind of thinking come from? Isn't this just how we are?

A Season on the Labyrinth
A Season on the Labyrinth. Taking to the Labyrinth to Learn About Life. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Day 11, September 14, 2009. OK, I'm posting several walks today. I am such a Baby Blogger, I thought the "hard" part of this would be taking the labyrinth walk every day. but no, it's the getting organized enough to get my thoughts and photos all out there that seems to be the trick. Who knew? For some reason, several rocks were calling for my attention. I couldn't settle on one Rock of the Day, so he...
