This time - 5 minutes before my departure to the slum for the inauguration ceremony she tells me that an Indian national news channel wishes to interview us on camera! What a week this has been! Saturday, 23 February 2008. Hand over and back to the UK. Well, we are back, and I know it is early (05:00 am in the UK), but hey, that's the body clock kicking in. The Inauguration of the centre was attended by around 500 people, stunning welcome, the pleasure on faces, enthusiastic handshaking, much dancing by some of the children who had dressed up specially to perform in front of all their family and friends all added to making it a very special event. Monday, 1 March 2010. It is Monday morning, March 1st and at 03.25 I thought "blow this.I'm getting up! So now 2 hours and 1 cup of tea later, I have been getting my day in order, diary, emails, reflecting, LOVING the silence! Yes Frances, I can really relate to that! Team Yeovil to Asha in 2013

Team Yeovil to Asha in 2013. A team from Yeovil in Somerset are visiting Asha in Delhi during February 2013 to join in the 25 Year Celebrations, followed by project work in the slums of Delhi. I want to learn. Friday, 15 February 2013. During the week, the kids at Kalkaji slum had been creating all sorts of amazing decorations and cards for our party to celebrate 25 years of Asha. This afternoon we had a party! About 50 children attended and we all had loads of fun! Some of the cards made by the children.
