We were able to get Grandma Meme and Grandpa Craig to come. This was as much as we could get Craig to smile. We were also able to get Brent Aguilar and his wife Kendra to join us. Monday, August 26, 2013. First day of school. I don't know what happened to the summer. Where did the time go? We had the busiest summer and it flew by. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. School starts tomorrow so we tried to squeeze every second of fun out of the summer as we could. How? Yesterday we took off and explored Grand Teton National Park. As we came over Teton Pass to drive into Jackson, there was an inversion over Jackson Hole and it was gorgeous! I didn't realize that you can get so close to the mountains from that side. It was breathtaking. Our hike took us around Jenny Lake and up Cascade Canyon. We say an osprey nest and daddy bird guarding it.

Thursday, December 25, 2014. Ryan needed some help this year with the unwrapping. He was a little wussy. Good thing he got pads and a helmet too). And we played cards and games and played in the snow, too. A great Christmas day. Links to this post. Christmas Eve was when we ate our main big meal and had a TON of guests. Mom and Dad Ashby came to stay for the whole week, Emily and Nate with their family came for the day, and Scott and Maura came as well. I'm not sure why Ryan's face is so gross here.
