Monday, May 9, 2011. Best Mother's Day ever! To his credit, he does get up with the older kids often and gets them going in the morning, even making breakfast for them. Gary hung out with us a while and then decided that we should come with him on his calls. While we were out, we stopped at the T-Mobile store and he bought me a new phone. This was my Mother's Day present. I just have to say, it is awesome! I absolutely love it. It's like having a miniature laptop and ipod. For my music and it was awesome!

Monday, November 22, 2010. Thanksgiving in my own way. Commercialize these upcoming holidays. To get back to the roots of the season and take advantage of the spirit of each-he may not have said it like this but this is what I got from it. So tonight we are starting with a family night lesson about the first Thanksgiving and what it was all about. A friend of mine (who I had just called and told of my pregnancy a few days before, and we had a nice talk) took her own life, after suffering from a very debilitating postpartum illness.
