Grand Teton National Park. Havasupai means people of the blue-green waters. The Havasupai are intimately connected to the water and the land. This blue- green water is sacred to the Havasupai. It flows not only across the land, but also through each tribal member. When you enter their land, you enter their home, their place of origin. It is not possible to capture the grandeur of this place with a camera; it is experienced best in person. Here is my small attempt, hope you enjoy it.

Grand Teton National Park. Iconic Mount Hood reflected in Lake Trilliium. Captured during sunrise, beautiful glowing fog in chilly morning. Place: Mount Hood National Forest, Oregon. Land of Angels and Elves. While inquiring about this place a ranger said that this area is so beautiful, you feel the presence of angels and elves. When I took this picture, I realized what he meant. Pacific Ocean, beautiful coast line of Oregon. Water, Rocks and Moss. Going with the flow. Place: Columbua River Gorge, Oregon.

The Long Road Ahead. Sunday, November 06, 2005. Fun on the Outer Banks. This weekend, though, a few of us visited a classmate who is doing his family medicine rotation in Eastern North Carolina. So we rented a little house on the beach of the Outer Banks and spent the weekend playing on the beach and soaking up the last of the autumn sun.
