Our friends Mark and Melinda had their little boy this morning. He was born at 5:22 am, and he weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces. Nick and I went to see them this morning, but Drew was still in the nursery. Friday, August 22, 2008. Brick, Windows and a Roof. We now have brick, windows and a roof. They will begin placing the stone on the front tomorrow. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. They dug the footings for our foundation today! We really weren't expecting them to break ground for another week and a half, so we were so pleased to see such fast progress. I will post pictures every few days of the progress they are making. Everything will go up really fast over the next 4 weeks, and then things will slow down as they move to the interior. Monday, December 15, 2008. Well, I a lot has happened since September, so I've tried to show a few pictures of our life the last few months. Neil and Lindsey came down one Saturday to spend the day with us. We loved having them, and we spent the day sight seeing. Nick and I spent almost every weekend of this fall hiking. Friday, April 25, 2008. Last day of school . . . forever! This is cheesy, I know, but these were taken per my mom's request. We are finished with class, but we have exams for the next couple of weeks. Nick finishes on May 1st, but I'm not done until May 7th. Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Chandler Reese is here! Saturday, September 6, 2008. Nick and I have both started our new jobs. We both really enjoy the work we are doing and the people we work with. The house is really coming along. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. They dug the footings for our foundation today! We really weren't expecting them to break ground for another week and a half, so we were so pleased to see such fast progress. I will post pictures every few days of the progress they are making. Everything will go up really fast over the next 4 weeks, and then things will slow down as they move to the interior. Tuesday, June 3, 2008. We love, love, love our new city! We are all settled in Chattanooga, and we are doing a little exploring and a lot of studying. We have Bar review classes every night, and we study most of the day, but as you can see we have managed to carve out a little time to have fun.
