BrunerAbroad: November 2010
http://brunerabroad.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Life is my adventure; God is my guide. Sunday, November 21, 2010. Guess where I am? I'm in the car! Technology is so cool! My phone has internet (which is handy, since my house does not), and my brother in law told me about a tethering application for my phone so that I can (legally) use my phone's internet on my computer. This is very convenient since I'm still working on a research paper, but we've got an 11 hour drive ahead of us. Thanksgiving is this week! That was a tangent. I was like, "what? He sa...

BrunerAbroad: Why I Need a New Job
http://brunerabroad.blogspot.com/2011/04/why-i-need-new-job.html
Life is my adventure; God is my guide. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Why I Need a New Job. On Saturday at work I cried. In front of the customers. I just stood there, biting my lip, tears running down my face, my cheeks turning red. I said "I'm sorry.". They told me to sit down and have a drink with them. I've cried at work before, but never in front of a customer. But these customers.not the ones I cried in front of, but the ones at the table next to them, were making my life very difficult at that moment.

BrunerAbroad: January 2010
http://brunerabroad.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Life is my adventure; God is my guide. Monday, January 4, 2010. Today was full of responsible, adult-like activities. Starting last month I began paying for my own car insurance, choosing health insurance, paying my own rent and bills, and generally partaking in responsible, adult-like activities. I'm a responsible, independent, single adult. This is my first time being an adult, so I'm still trying to figure it all out. I think I like it. But it scares me. Suddenly there's so much. That's a big word.

BrunerAbroad: March 2011
http://brunerabroad.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Life is my adventure; God is my guide. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Here it is.a picture of the ring! I promise I was wearing a cute dress the night he proposed. I knew it was coming, so I had to dress up! But it was so cold, I had to put on a sweater and scarf AND coat! The diamonds are the ones my dad gave my mom. They were taken from two separate rings, and Matt had them put together into one new ring. He did a great job! And I love that the diamonds are so sentimental. :). But the more we've gotten to ...

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Thanksgiving Day, I made cranberry sauce, stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake bars. I also hand-squeezed 29 limes to make Honduran-style limeade. Not the best idea I ever had, but I was proud of myself nonetheless. Michael worked a full day. Each night ended with a get-together: Thursday with the Viera extension, Friday with the primos, and Saturday with an old friend. Sunday, we were exhausted. There was plenty more to do: laundry, dishes, schoolwork. We came home from c...The A...

http://transprovincialism.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 20, 2014. Every day of the last eight years, I have been, slowly and painstakingly, learning to fear less and love more. So many days, I find myself clamouring the way the weaker disciples did, "This is a hard teaching, who can accept it? Thank God for Grace. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 有缘千里来相会: Even Across Great Distances: Paulo Freire
http://transprovincialism.blogspot.com/2014/12/paolo-freire.html
Tuesday, October 7, 2014. For a long time now, I've seen folks quote Freire though I never knew exactly who he was or why he was so famous. I'm not sure why, by in my mind I think I had melded him with Pablo Neruda: South American, wise, quotable, from a time before I was born? Here's what I wrote:. Lownd, n.d.). Lownd, n.d.).
