Wine Not? Migrant Work in New Zealand

Migrant Work in New Zealand. Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Well, I am home now. We took a few days before leaving NZ to roadtrip to Nelson and Picton (the locations of our first roadtrip) where we did some last minute shopping and general relaxing. We got back to the vineyard Monday. We spent Tuesday packing and returning books to the library in town. We had a farewell feast of lambchops, mashed potatoes and veggie stir fry. However, the movies didn't work for the first 3 hours of the flight so we only had ti...

http://ashleyinnz.blogspot.com/2008/04/harvest.html

Migrant Work in New Zealand. Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Well we finished the apple business, got into the sea kayaking and national park hiking business for a few days and then headed back to Blenheim for the grape HARVEST! Sea kayaking was amazing, one of many newly aquired tastes to take home (to Iowa? We saw a penguin swimming around, that was awesome! We had perfect weather and had so much fun in our kayak built for two. On Thursday morning Brian caught a bus to Christchurch to practice with his ulti...

Migrant Work in New Zealand. Monday, January 14, 2008. Our North Island tour is over. We saw some really old Kauri trees- one is estimated to be around 2000 years old, it was HUGE- and we saw a museum about the kauri trees and their place in NZ history which is substantial since they are old as! We flew out of Auckland on Thursday last week and arrived in Christchurch where we returned to the backpackers we cleaned for a month to find it much less clean! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wine Not? Migrant Work in New Zealand: Sunburn, Warts, Bee Stings and Immigration....

http://ashleyinnz.blogspot.com/2008/03/sunburn-warts-bee-stings-and.html

Migrant Work in New Zealand. Saturday, March 1, 2008. Sunburn, Warts, Bee Stings and Immigration. Well folks its another rainy Saturday in Motueka; which means that, again, my first day off from being inside the pack house on 5 beautiful sunny days in a row, will be spent indoors. Boo. No worries though, the internet cafe has endless filter coffee for 2 bucks and so life is good. I hope you enjoyed your extra day in February! March 21, 2008 at 7:57 PM. Long time no see! I just found this this morning, so...

Pictures and updates on our rehab of a 2-family in South St. Louis. Friday, August 31, 2007. Paul was trying to refinish the closet doors but they are not turning out so well. At this point, I think we may just use fabric panels for doors right now and maybe buy new closet doors at some point. There is not too much left to do in the bedroom. Mostly touch up paint and refinishing floors. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). These are pictures of the 1st floor apartment, aga. Lets try this again.

http://maureenandpaul.blogspot.com/2007/08/dining-room_31.html

Pictures and updates on our rehab of a 2-family in South St. Louis. Friday, August 31, 2007. The dining room did not need much work. There were a few parts of the wall that had to be patched. Tessa helped me paint this room. I really wanted a red dining room. I thought red would be a very dramatic color and appropriate for a dining room. Paul was not really into the red idea. He was very kind though and allowed me to paint one wall red. We compromised! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It was full of green hills, sheep, rocky cliffs, great food, little pubs with music, quaint B&Bs, rainy moments, sunny moments, rainbows galore, and all of the castles you could ever dream of. It was everything Ireland should be and more, and I got to experience it with my love. February 18, 2014. Loves his bath, just like his Auntie.

Ashley in Palau

Thursday, March 19, 2009. So my time in Guam is coming to an end. I have been through test after test and after everything from an EKG to a biopsy I am now cleared to go back to Palau. Good News! As of right now I am still waiting for the results of my biopsy (which was not the greatest experience ever but I made it through), but all 3 of my doctors here in Guam are very optimistic that everything is just fine and that in years to come I will just have to keep a close eye on things.
