The shops have everything from fans to purses to food to everything! The whole shrine is built on a hill, so you just keep on walking further and further up the hill past all of these shops and all of this other scenery until you reach the very top. Sunday, August 26, 2007. So I'm finally here, safe and sound on the other side of the world in Japan! It took way too long to get here, which was mostly due to stopovers. Here's how it went- I flew from Edmonton to Vancouver where I sat for 7 hours watching youtube while waiting for my next flight. Thank God for youtube. Anyways, in between all of the madness of exams and avoiding sick people, I did manage to experience quite a few interesting events and travels these last couple of weeks.
