Friday, August 28, 2009. Just like last school year, I absolutley LOVE my morning converstations with Madison while on our way to her school. One of my favorites this week. Madison was telling me about lunch the previous day.how they had to sit next to the pre-k because the 'new' kindergarten got to lunch early. She explained in detail about everything! When she was finished telling the story, she paused for a few seconds then said, "True story.true story! I couldn't help but laugh! Where does time go?

Friday, August 28, 2009. As I previously mentioned, my Mom and grandmother came over yesterday to pick and shell peas. We headed out to the pea patch around ten, thinking we would be able to avoid the heat. Boy, were we wrong! With the temperature in the mid 80's and NO breeze, we were all burning up! We arrived back at the house around noon and took a short break for lunch. The shelling, washing, cooking, cooling, and bagging of the peas took almost SEVEN hours! Boy, they better taste good!

Laura had her full body scan and it showed that the tumor by her liver has totally disapeared, and several around her spleen have shrunk. Halleluia, God answers prayers. I know she's not totally healed but the doctors weren't sure if the chemo would work at all so this is wonderful news! Thank you to everybody that has been praying for her, please keep it up!
