A military Family Journal. Monday, April 22. At our church, when you are born you are given a name blessing. Eleanor had hers on Sunday. It was beautiful. She wore my dress from when I was a baby (made by my mom). David gave a beautiful blessing with a few close friends from our ward. Bishop Edwards, Brandon Blake, David, Adam Homewood and Mike Smith). I forgot to take photos of just Ellie in her dress on Sunday, so I put her back in the dress Monday evening and took some more photos). In Memory of Calvin.

A military Family Journal. Thursday, September 22. This past weekend I made apple butter. It was so yummy and easy! All the apple skins and cores. 5 1/2 lbs of apple cut up. After cooking for 8 to 9 hours. Almost 6 lbs of apples only made 2 pints! It was a very simple recipe. I then gave it away to 2 of the sisters I visit teach in my ward. A military Family Journal. Tuesday, February 21. On Friday, the Starbucks' and I went to the San Diego Safari Park. That is always a fun place to go. We went and had lots of fun, and the animals were so active! I have never seen a Rhino running, let alone bugging the giraffes at the watering hole! One of the best things about the Safari Park is that the enclosures are huge and they put multiple type of animals in each enclosure, making it more like a natural habitat for them. A military Family Journal. Friday, April 6. David and I both had a very stressful week at work. It was a really LONG. In celebration of making it through the week, we went out to dinner tonight at Lil Piggy's Bar-B-Q. It was really yummy and on the bay side of Coronado. A military Family Journal. Sunday, October 2. David is home and we are enjoying just relaxing at home together. We have been going out and doing fun things, but what we have really been enjoying is baking and cooking! I feel like I should almost make this blog into a food blog, I just love the food I have been cooking lately. I made CHEESECAKE STUFFED STRAWBERRIES! And yes, they are as good as they sound! A military Family Journal. Sunday, October 27. Ellie is 8 Months old today, she slept in, has a cold and is teething (possible reason for cold). She had a busy month between pumpkin patches, disneyland, Dana Point, Santa Cruz, family visiting and bowling! She's perfected the sitting (maybe a month or 2 ago, but it's been a long time since I last blogged). Eating anything she can, she loves everything I give her! Rocking back and forth on her hands and knees and any day will be crawling. I loved this one!
