My life and what I love. Sunday, October 11, 2009. I finished Pretty Poison this morning, this is a good cozy and I really enjoyed reading. It was about Peggy Lee and he garden shop. When a body turns up in her shop she has to prove that her homeless friend didn't do it and then in the process all the signs point to one of her employees, or do they? I can't hide that I'm crazy as well in the winter, I'm stuck inside because its cold and wet out side and I have such pent-up energy that I get stupid. My life and what I love. Saturday, March 6, 2010. Spring is in the air. We have had our back acre or so timbered out so we have a TON of yard work coming up. Today we will be burning the tops of the trees that are too small for fire wood or that area type of wood you can't use for fire wood. So somebody pass the marshmellows! My life and what I love. Sunday, January 25, 2015. Looking forward to spring,. We decided to try our hardest to grow an organic, non GMO garden this year. This will be a new experience for us. Tim and I have the garden spot tilled and have started adding composted duck and chicken poo to the soil. I really do believe this is the best veggies my family can possible get. Thursday, April 15, 2010. I love, love, love spring, but it also seems to be our busiest and most stressful time of year. Vic is once again coaching the Southeast Lancer High School Baseball Team. His passion has always been baseball. It does take up a lot of his time though (and mine) and can be stressful at times. However, we have had wonderful weather this year and it has made sitting through double headers a little more enjoyable. :-). He pitched all 6 innings, faced 19 batters and struck out 15!

Thursday, April 2, 2009. Happy Day / Sad Day. Tori came up to my classroom this morning very excited. They had gotten all of the 8th graders together to talk about what would be happening at 8th grade graduation. Well, they announced that Tori was an Honors Student and would receive a medal to wear at graduation. She was shocked and so excited! Aubrey came in all excited while I was eating lunch. She was excited because she scored Exceeds Standard on her state assessments in math. :-). Wow - a new post!
