Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Freezing my fanny off and LOVING IT. Yup you heard me! Its rexburg and i am LOVING IT HERE! Compared to last year's frozen tundra, rexburg is a tropical paradise! I walk to class in 32 degree weather, and that's SO WARM compared to last year's -10! It snowed for the first time a little over a week ago. i'm ok with that. although i know how much the farming community depends on the snow for crops. that's a bummer. Monday, July 23, 2012. The pre-jeru snapshot. a little fun at the jc! The first lady pageant. Anyone who knows me at all knows i don't do pageants. i don't do fake smiles, pretty dress-ups, plastered on makeup. And so i decided to add some spice to the pageant and appear as the nerd brooke.the one i let out only on special occasions! Complete with walk, talk, and terrible stage presence. so fun :). No, i did not eat any turkey while i was there, but i had my share of eggplant goulash, meatballs of all sorts, desserts saturated in syrup, lentil soup, and bread to last a lifetime!
