Hiram, Liz, and Company: Summer with Bethany
http://hiramandliz.blogspot.com/2012/09/summer-with-bethany.html
Hiram, Liz, and Company. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Bethany's had a pretty fun summer. She LOVED seeing the flowers grow. The hibiscus were her favorite. Mine too. We (I) made a fort in our living room. But I (Liz) was not allowed inside of it, since it seems that I was a dragon and she was the princess. She learned how to pedal her tricycle. And she goes around the neighborhood on this thing. Good thing there's a stick I can use to push her with, to keep her out of streets and such:). Going for a WALK!

Hiram, Liz, and Company. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Matilda Thornton: On to Greener Pastures. July 22nd, Hamlet (one of our two pet doves) met an unexpected end, when he escaped his cage and went to our neighbor's yard. They own a dog, and the rest is history. After that, his partner Matilda (a guy dove, we think) looked pretty lonely. Or, in the mating words of Matilda, "doot da doot da dooooo! Posted by Elizabeth and Hiram Thornton. Hiram, Liz, and Company: Liz the Triathlete
http://hiramandliz.blogspot.com/2012/09/liz-triathlete.html
Hiram, Liz, and Company. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Liz did a triathlon August 25th! It started with a 275 meter (or yard? Swim, then a 6.5 mile bike ride and a 2 mile run. Although she nearly drowned in the swim (perhaps she slightly. Overestimated her swimming speed), she got second place in her age division. And the people handing out medals actually mistakenly announced her as getting FIRST place (then they later announced the REAL first-place winner). Posted by Elizabeth and Hiram Thornton.

Bethany made lots of snowballs to take "to market, to market" and spent some time "falling off the mountain.". She also invited me to her birthday party (about 5 months early). Apparently, Hannah was not allowed to have any "cake":. Posted by Elizabeth and Hiram Thornton. I wonder how many kisses Hannah gets each day. Probably about 300,000! Who can blame me? Or "Is he dead yet? After our "...

Hiram, Liz, and Company. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. The girls had a pretty busy Halloween this year! Hannah dressed up as a pumpkin (a costume that was worn by Bethany 2 years ago! I didn't get any pictures of the actual trick or treating, but I took these afterwards. Bethany enjoying the spoils. After getting so much candy, she wanted to eat it all day long. She kept trying to get us to give her Halloween candy by going potty ALL THE TIME (just a tiny bit each time) and asking for it as a reward. After ...
