She's the kind of friend that has known you for almost 20 years and is still your friend, WOW! Elizabeth knows me so well and we always have a blast whenever we manage to get together, so when we moved just 2 hours from them we were super excited! The wonderful Anderson family came down to visit over Easter weekend and the time flew by way too fast! My kids are crazy on sugar :).

Domestic Engineer: May 2011
http://domesticatedengineer.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
I love to bake and do many crafty things! Monday, May 30, 2011. Here is the recipe I use adapted from an old Betty Crocker cookbook. Slowly melt one cup sugar in a cast iron skillet. When melted and turned slightly brown add 1 cup water, very slowly. This splatters and will burn you if not careful. Stir slowly until sugar is melted into water and is liquid. Pour this into a glass measuring cup. Add enough water to the one of the containers to make 1 cup liquid, burnt sugar. Set aside. Links to this post.
