We enjoyed lots of play dates, 2 beautiful weddings, new babies, fabulous birthday parties, dates with Daddy, enjoyable get a ways, and a perfect holiday season! Our Crimson Tide began the New Year as the newest National Champions! We also enjoyed a random snow day, a night out with the cowboys, a fun 1st birthday party, and a belated VES Christmas Party! On New Years Day we went to Gadsden to spend the afternoon with my grandparents {my dad's side of the family} and Aunt Paula! We loaded up 2 vehicles and made the hour drive to a local park for a picnic lunch and a day of catching up! The kids ran wild as they made their way around the new {to them} playground while the grown up sat in the warm sun and chatted away! Before we left we decided to take some family shots.

Tuesday, January 27, 2009. I read these blogs almost daily. I pretend each one is a window to that friend's house. The curtains are pulled back. The shades are up. For a few moments I can see inside their homes. I see a lot of cute, precious moments. (thankfully not the figurines, I hate those things). A lot of sweet happenings. Beautiful and funny. "Awe.isn't that cute? Happy, sweet, precious. I love looking in every day. Then sometimes.it isn't. Just once, I'd like to see something that I can relate to.

Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Christmas Platter Swap 2009. Monday night, us girls got together for our first annual Christmas party. We decided that this year would be a Christmas Platter swap. Various bombs rockets and artillery were tested against a wide range of targets, many of which can still be seen on the Range today. Mosquito performing a run in against wall 3 target on the range.
