Monday, March 5, 2012. And then I buried my face in Tanners chest and let the tears come. The nurse left us with, "Settle in, this is going to be a long day." We got a chuckle out of that. You either laugh or cry right? Like we didn't know that already. 2 1/2 hours down. a few more to go. I hope I'm strong enough to see her like this again. Friday, April 8, 2011. On April 10th, Ruthie Jane was given a name and a blessing by her Daddy. She hasn't been doing very well the last few months, she can barely get out a whisper anymore. The last time she was able to talk to me on the phone was in November, and the only thing she was able to say was a whispered "I love you". I could tell how much effort it took her to say those three words and it meant the world to me. Me and Grandma Ruth when I was 7 months pregnant with Ruthie. Shelly and John Hyde.

Thursday, March 15, 2012. The last few days have been a little rough for Bela. She is restless and uncomfortable most of the time. It's just going to take time. It's hard to be patient for her to come back to me because she was just too good before. I have to remind myself that it's only been 10 days. I just miss her. This is just her 9 pm meds.
