It was a quick trip- There for 3 days with 33 hours spent in the air plus connections and other travel time. I was upgraded to business class for the trip. View towards the ships lined up at port from the Singapore Flyer. View of downtown from the Singapore flyer. Lower deck 747 business class. The best of times.

During the first weekend of February I took a walk around Medicine Lake, the same location as the Minneapolis biannual Art Shanty project. The total lack of snow revealed a really beautiful array of wildflower skeletons and seeds waiting for spring to be released. Poison sumac berry. I really enjoy the ways these look, and reference them often when describing other things (trees filled w/ crows, for example)&...
