Friday, August 24, 2007. Soon it was lunchtime and the group was treated to a delicious meal cooked by the Amma’s bramacharinis who are serving the orphanage children. A diary of longing. Thursday, February 01, 2007. Mother in strange places. Last night we went to see. The epic art flic by matthew barney starring him and his partner, bjork. the word strange doesn't begin to capture its oddness. and it was all the more captivating for this. For me, due to the slow and beautiful scenes around the ocean, i felt this overwhelming sense of Ma. thanks to the minimal dialogue (there is only one small dialogue scene in 2.5 hours), i could easily repeat my mantra.
