Gracefully Simple: November 2011
http://gracefullysimple.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. So, I must wait. WAIT What does it mean to wait? To just sit idly by and see what comes of it? I don’t think so. I believe that waiting includes active trust in the Lord, and glorifying him with where you are right now. Take Abraham in Romans 4:18-21 for example. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”. Being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Gracefully Simple: Lord, what are you doing?
http://gracefullysimple.blogspot.com/2012/08/lord-what-are-you-doing.html
Friday, August 10, 2012. Lord, what are you doing? During the first five weeks of project, this was a question that I asked of the Lord daily. There were also other questions like “Where are you going with this? Why are you taking me through this? What purpose does this have in my life? How long are you going to leave me here? Are you even listening to me? I was giving it up to Him. Have you ever felt like this, or do you feel like this now? If you are, I have good news for you; there is hope.

Life of Pi – Attainment

8220;The reason death sticks so closely to life isn’t biological necessity- it’s envy. Life is so beautiful that death has fallen in love with it, a jealous, possessive love that grabs at what it can. But life leaps over oblivion lightly, losing only a thing or two of no importance, and gloom is but the passing shadow of a cloud.”.
