Saturday, January 29, 2011. Here we are at the end of January. Things are going well. Our big news as of late was that we found out we are having a baby girl. We are all excited! Maddie and Bella were really hoping for a sister, and I know they'll be great with her. Poor Nathan will still be the lone boy, so good thing he has a great dad. Scott and Katie: 5 Years old!

Sunday, August 07, 2011. Maddie and Bella turned five on July 18th. They are getting so big. They were so excited about their Luau birthday party. We had been talking about it for months! It was great timing because my sister Sarah and nephew Andrew came out to visit us the day before their birthday. We were so excited to have them here to be with us and help us with the party too! Here I am trying to show some of the girls a hula dance. Playing pass the coconut and getting treats out. Happy 4th of July.

Sunday, September 18, 2011. Maddie and Bella and I went apple picking. I love doing that this time of year! There is nothing like yummy crispy apples right off the tree. Luckily we met another mom in our neighborhood with a boy in their class so we have started carpooling. It is wonderful! They are definitely smarty pants these days and I'm amazed at how fast they are growing up and how much they are learning. They are taking gymnastics and a music class as well so they are having fun.

Sunday, August 07, 2011. Scott and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary on July 16th. That sounds like a long time! I can't believe it. I hardly remember what life was like without Scott! We got married so young, that we basically grew up together and I am more grateful and in love with him everyday. What a good catch he is. Friday, July 01, 2011. My great friend Tamara came and took some pictures of the kids for Scott for Father's day. She did such a great job- especially considering the fact that Nathan did not want his picture taken, Maddie was crying because she stepped on something and hurt her foot, Bella was crying because the sun was in her eyes, and Nora was crying because she was tired and hungry. A great combo right? I was thrilled the Tamara got so many cute pictures. Love these kids. Posted by Scott and Katie.

After spending the last year in Alabama, we've moved again- this time to Texas. We are excited to have another adventure and are learning that everything is, in fact, bigger in Texas! We've been married six years, and have grown to a family of four! Things keep getting better and better.
