Friday, March 25, 2011. For Spring Break we went to Omaha with some friends, the Veigels and Teeters. We swapped getting to go to the temple and we stayed in an indoor water park called Coco Keys. It was such a blast! The Veigels have a rule no jumping on the bed, except at a hotel. The kids went crazy! We had adjoining rooms. Now I know where the song "One fell off and bumped their heads, no more monkeys jumping on the beds" comes from! It was a fun long weekend. We fully tuckered them out!

Saturday, June 13, 2009. Ben finally graduated from dental school! He is now V.W. Ben Nelson, DMD. We are so grateful for all the friends and family that supported him and helped him reach this goal! James had to share his birthday party with his daddy's graduation party, but I still insisted we at least sung to him. Monday, December 1, 2008. So Ben found this golf course with a hill on it and we wanted to take the kids pictures there. It was a crazy morning. Getting four kids to smile and sit still all at the same time is hard enough but then the golf course sent out some one to make us leave! Sunday, September 20, 2009. Ben's work had a little carnival for the families. It was a great day! James loves junk food more than any kid I have ever seen! That icecream is as big as him! Proudly sporting some of our prizes! Saturday, September 19, 2009. We went to the circus! We took all the kids. After about 15 minutes James got antzy and Ben had to keep taking him out. I couldn't figure out why James was acting that way until I found out everytime Ben took him out he bought James a doughnut!

Friday, October 16, 2009. I need a nap! So I am upstairs putting away laundry, and James starts yelling "MOM" over and over in a very demanding voice. I tell him I am upstairs and he can come talk to me if he wants too, but he needs to talk nice. Well the yelling continues. A few minutes later he is quite (never a good sign in a two year old! So I rush downstairs. He had fallen asleep on the middle of the staircase! I was surprised because he already had a nap that day! October 16, 2009 at 9:22 AM.

Thursday, October 22, 2009. We were invited to a big fhe halloween party progressive dinner this week. It was tonz of fun! We had a lesson about Noah and the ark and a bunch of kids acted it out. At the end we got to do a pinata! Leighton swung for his life! After Leighton, they started making the kids use this softer bat (leighton almost mistaked a few heads for pinatas) Leilani swung so graceful!
