The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle
http://rachellekroll.blogspot.com/2010/09/im-going-to-cover-last-month-or-so-in.html
The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle. Monday, September 27, 2010. I'm going to cover the last month or so in a couple of segments since it's been so long :(. I'm obviously still having trouble getting back into the swing of bloggging. Still, I hate to give up on it since it's such a great way to record life and keep in touch with all the random people in my life. Don't lose heart faithful followers! Remember the scene in ET where he hides in a pile of stuffed animals? Here are a few of my favo...

The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle: April 2010
http://rachellekroll.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle. Monday, April 19, 2010. My blogs have been a bit sparse lately for good reason. Three things have dominated my life over the past couple of weeks, and my life has been a whirlwind! It takes almost twice as long now as it used to. Therefore, I decided that it was time to pursue my options in living closer to work. To my surprise, after talking to 2 people, I had 4 offers! I've spent 3 full days in the car shop this week, and my car is not yet fixed! Actuall...

The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle: August 2010
http://rachellekroll.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle. Monday, August 30, 2010. One thing that I love about life is that no matter how old you get, you still regularly experience "firsts". Over the past few weeks, I had my first drink from a whole coconut (worthy of a theme party, I think! Saw my first 3d movie (not too bad, though sometimes my eyes felt a little boggled). And randomly joined a slip-and-slip party with a bunch of strangers at a park (how can you resist after a good run with a friend? Once agai...

The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle: cabins and road trips galore
http://rachellekroll.blogspot.com/2010/08/cabins-and-road-trips-galore.html
The Ordinary and Extraordinary Life of Rachelle. Sunday, August 1, 2010. Cabins and road trips galore. Once again, it's been a month since I've posted anything. I have a good reason though. life has gotten in the way. Summer is busy, too busy to spend in front of the computer. Sooo, I'll try to summarize the month as well as I can. We enjoyed a catamaran outing, and went Kayaking with my dad. Then in typical vacation-with-my-dad fashion, we wento down to Yosetime National Park the next day. Now hopefully...

Life of Light: October 2008
http://kristinkoning.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2008. Dry Creek Trail and Lake Cushman. My favorite part of the trip was hiking along the eastern edge of Lake Cushman in an area filled with very large old tree stumps. The trees were cut in the 1920's when the city of Tacoma built a dam on the North Fork Skokomish River, thus enlarging the lake. Here I am, pointing with humor and disbelief at the action that resulted in Matty looking like. Clearly, Matty (aka Spot) was in paradise and loving every minute of it! Doin a little P&W:.

Life of Light: June 2009
http://kristinkoning.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. Ape Cave and Bear Grass. Yesterday I had the privilege of hanging out with my long-time friend, Suzanne. We spent the day in the Mount St. Helens area, hiking the entire length of the 2 mile long Ape Cave. And checking out the St. Helens area. It was beautiful and full of wildflowers, and it was wonderful to catch up with Suzanne again! Suz told me to frolic among the wildflowers. So here I am, frolicking. ;). The flowers were prolific. And magnificent! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life of Light: A Precious Sight
http://kristinkoning.blogspot.com/2010/10/precious-sight.html
Tuesday, October 12, 2010. I was on a plane today sitting next to a dear, elderly woman - probably in her 80's - who was flying to Seattle to visit some of her grandchildren. We talked for awhile of life and family and traveling and her embarrassment about getting to the point of needing to use a wheelchair. And then we noticed a small boy about 2 years old sitting 2 rows ahead of us. Awe, so precious! October 12, 2010 at 1:22 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). BJ Melis and Abigail.

Life of Light: August 2009
http://kristinkoning.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 6, 2009. The pain and sorrow, the disappointment,. Expressed in my soul as i learned. The news of exorbitant exclusion. From that of which i yearned. Surprised, oh my heart, and hurt. But hurt and surprised be not. For such passions are of this world. From expectancies of haught. My being is fraught with avarice. With thoughts of deservedness. Yet the Lord, alone, merits all. To Him, may i ne'er give less. Rest, oh my soul, for this hurt be not for e'er:. My home, this world is not.
