It seems that just a few months ago lawns were lush and green and vigorously growing, but now many are filled with large brown spots and no one seems to know why. Crabgrass is the culprit in this mystery. When temperatures hit 40 degrees or lower Crabgrass begins turning brown and at freezing temperatures it nearly looks completely dead.

Last week I spoke with a BMP organizer who is concerned that new laws will take away the BMP courses and no longer enforce the current BMP program. I truly hope that this is not the case. Having the ability to promote our expertise helps us all appear to be what we truly are, highly educated professionals caring for clients needs.
