The Diary of a Country Lady: The Last Post
http://diaryofacountrylady.blogspot.com/2011/04/last-post.html
The Diary of a Country Lady. Saturday, April 30, 2011. My thanks to all visitors and especially those who have left comments. Of course, IF I am suddenly inspired to write another novel and the characters refuse to stay dormant in my head, then write I must. But that will mean less blogging, not more! I have started on art work again. Walking is getting harder but best to make the most of what can be done even if it has to be done slower. Sitting too long at one time is not good! Become as a child.

The Diary of a Country Lady: January 2011
http://diaryofacountrylady.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The Diary of a Country Lady. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Walking the Hoad Footpath in Winter Sunshine. A sunny day in January and what better activity than to go for a walk? Soon after arriving home, a heartwarming sunset! I think it is true that a lot of people suffer mild depression at this time of the year (SAD). The usual dark, cold, wet days often cause a feeling of weariness. How lucky we are to have footpaths almost from our doorstep! Tuesday, January 18, 2011. When I started writing about ten yea...

The Diary of a Country Lady: September 2010
http://diaryofacountrylady.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Diary of a Country Lady. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Walking in Nottingham University Park, we crossed the lower end of the lake by walking over the stepping stones. It is a beautiful spot with waterfall and rocks, surrounded by mature trees — a mini-paradise. This is a place we visited when I was a young child up to my adulthood. So many steps taken along that road to where I am now. Never did I think I would write books, or train to be a teacher. Labels: become as a child. Solomon in all his glory?

The Diary of a Country Lady: May 2010
http://diaryofacountrylady.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
The Diary of a Country Lady. Monday, May 31, 2010. Comforting Words and Ecstatic Experiences — reflections on the Psalms. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me. So high that I cannot endure it. Even looking at a rich blue sky through a copper beech can bring tears to one's eyes. Or to look at distant mountains with wispy clouds crowning the summits. Thousands upon thousands of riches that are ours — if we are willing to open our eyes. Joy is just a blink away. Sunday, May 30, 2010. We all need time to b...

The Diary of a Country Lady: October 2010
http://diaryofacountrylady.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The Diary of a Country Lady. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. It reminded me of St Paul's saying about reflections in a mirror 'but then we shall see face to face, and know as we are known'. All we see now may pass away, but to believers what remains is eternal. Saturday, October 16, 2010. He who comes to me I will give him living water welling up into Eternal Life.' (As I recall the words that constantly remain.). There are some things never forgotten. A life-changing experience is exactly that.

The Diary of a Country Lady: Living Water!
http://diaryofacountrylady.blogspot.com/2011/03/living-water.html
The Diary of a Country Lady. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Jesus sometimes spoke of Living Water — the water that he gives to believers, water that He connects to Life Eternal, a spring bubbling up for all to receive. Bubbling up! That is what seemed to be happening when I had the Holy Spirit entering into my life. For a while I would suddenly be overtaken with JOY bubbling up, impossible to contain. It just had to be released! Living water. joy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pride Before a Fall!

But, it has all been worthwhile. Photograph — looking towards the Coniston Range from the Moors Road above Ulverston. Coniston Water can just be seen below the mountains.).
