Monday, May 23, 2005. Long winding road, ups and downs. Very narrow at times. Surrounded by fields. People working in fields albeit with heavy machinery. The whole road is spotted by small villages/towns. Speed limit drops drastically. As you slow down you see simple folk with washing lines, kids playing, a small post office! Wednesday, May 25, 2005. An amru labmate of mine, TH had decided to learn Marathi. I have never seen so much determination and enthusiasm about learning a language as he is showing. Phenomenal! I would assume he would have progressed much quicker had he received better tutoring in Marathi. One day he walks up and asks me " Aditya, I have asked everyone else in the lab but no one can tell me when to use "me" and when to use "mala". Could tell me the grammatical rule behind it?
