Friday, 10 October 2014. Mean girls is a stereotypical teen-angst movie, with the American high school setting. Cady Heron an African home schooled girl moves to America and is put into mainstream school, a big change. Different types of people, different place entirely. At the end of the film Cady get made prom queen and she makes a long speech about her time at the school and how she knows she's done wrong, everybody forgives her, and the plastics end. How young people use film. 17 out of the 22 students said they use online websites to watch films rather than buying the DVD, and 13 students openly admitted to illegally downloading or streaming films from the Internet. I believe this is also because of the cost, film are not cheap to buy or download now-a-days, and seeing as downloading and streaming illegally is made so easy that has an impact on the amount downloaded.
