What did not work was some of our transition points. I don’t know how the students will be able to shift gears. Peer Activity 2 due 11-2-09. 10-26-09 Assessment for Bean students. 1 Sand is found on most beaches due to the high erosion factor. 2 Sand ranges in color from white to black. 3 Clay is good for growing most of our local crops. 4 Sand was used to build pioneer homes and buildings in the past. 5 Clay looks like tiny crystals under a microscope. 6 Clay leaches water faster than sand. 7 Sand can be used to make sandpaper.
