Saylor Made: Nesting
http://saylor-made.blogspot.com/2013/05/nesting.html
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Last summer I created one of my favourite paintings. And sent it off in trade to Alice. I was a little sad to see it leave and so I made plans to create something along the same lines for myself. Shortly after giving my studio a thorough cleaning I discovered these wooden nesting dolls. In their box begging to be decorated. Sidebar: How awesome is discovering treasure hidden away in your old boxes? May 21, 2013 at 1:51 PM. Those are so cool Hi from Heedless! A Feather on the Beach.

Saylor Made: May 2012

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. The last part of each sketchbook project I complete is always the cover. I feel as though I have to see all of the completed pages before I can get a good idea for the cover. The inside front cover has a brief description about the subject of the sketchbook. The inside back cover ends with a similar style as that of the first page. Our family rhythm repeats our distance and time love story. See the rest of my Limited Edition Sketchbook. Monday, May 14, 2012. I was surprised and del...

Tenderfoot: The post about when Lori leaves Tenderfoot.
http://tenderfooting.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-post-about-when-lori-leaves.html
Tuesday, 16 October 2012. The post about when Lori leaves Tenderfoot. Tenderfoot is going into a new direction! Tenderfoot is and hopefully will always be the Creative Hub for Brislington, helping new up and coming artists branch out into other shops and also a launching board for the crafty novice that just wants to learn something new. And even in my absence I'm sure Tenderfoot will be all those things, and possibly more. The same spirit will be kept alive, just by different souls. With all my heart,.

Saylor Made: July 2012
http://saylor-made.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. My daughter was invited to a 5-year-old boy's birthday party recently. He loves to dress up and all action heros so I whipped up a Batman card with two sheets of my daughter's craft paper. The style was modeled after modern minimalist comic posters. There was plenty of room on the inside for the pink marker she chose to sign her name. It's our way of compromising since she wanted to make him a princess card. Thursday, July 26, 2012. Do you plan ahead or wing it? From Tea to Storage.

Saylor Made: For the Tooth Fairy
http://saylor-made.blogspot.com/2013/01/for-tooth-fairy.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. For the Tooth Fairy. My daughter's recent trip to the Dentist led to the discovery of her first wiggly tooth! On our way home we stopped at a craft store and I let her pick out the felt and ribbon. That evening I made a simple tooth door hanger so we'll be well prepared when the Tooth Fairy arrives. There is a small pocket on one side for the tooth and a large pocket on this side for money. What's the going rate for the Tooth Fairy? January 31, 2013 at 8:11 PM. The stitching ...

Saylor Made: August 2012

Monday, August 20, 2012. Mail Art Monday: Summer Edition. I looked back on my last post and could barely believe that well over a month has past since I last wrote about mail art. What can I say other than the lure of warm weather and time spent in my garden or around beaches took me far away from my computer most days. Thankfully, the postcard I made for Jessica. Turned up while she was unpacking after her recent move. Spoiled me rotten with two lovely packages this summer. The first was sent during...

Saylor Made: September 2012
http://saylor-made.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2012. The first time I visited Futuregirl's. I completed using her tutorials. I ignored my shyness and sent her an email with my link. She replied and featured my bag in a post about projects from her tutorials. Several months later she wrote a wonderful piece about blog comments. And I left a reply. I told her about how thankful I was for her encouragement and kind words for my fledgling blog and artwork. We've kept in touch since, via our blogs and twitter. Plus, I was only expect...
