I haven't posted in a long while, primarily because I have been too busy with my day job, and also because Shane is doing a coop program this semestre, working with dogs at a dog day care. He is having a wonderful time at this job, and it has really opened our eyes to some potential careers. Give something new a try in 2012!

Saturday, January 12, 2013. This is a recipe I got from Mennonite Girls Can Cook. Warning, this recipe takes at least two to three days to make. This is also a VERY messy recipe. My Oma used to make these cookies when I was a girl, and they're one of my favourites. When she passed away, I inherited her cookbook, including part of this recipe. Unfortunately, too much of it was missing for it to be safe to make. You see, Peppermint cookies use Baking Ammonia. And now for the recipe. 189; cup softened butter.
