Recently, I was reading a news item about oxytocin being the key to “healing patients with Autism”, I just about blew my top. Http:/ www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/08/110819080602.htm. I though we had gotten beyond this type of argument ages ago, where we start from an assumption of normalcy – anything that does not fit is “diseased” and in need of fixing. Apparently not.
