An Aspiring Vegan

Thursday, January 31, 2008. This is what I have been doing for pizza. 3 1/2 cups flour. 1 cup warm water (between 95° and 115° F.). 2 T yeast (2 tablespoons, I like my dough a little yeasty. You can use less). 1/4 cup olive oil. 1/2 tsp. salt. After you roll the dough out, I usually stab it with a fork a few times. the sauce gets in to the holes, and the crust doesn't bubble up. I have done two variations with this. This recipe is so basic. You can sway from it as you please. Wednesday, November 7, 2007.

An Aspiring Vegan: So far

http://aspiringvegan.blogspot.com/2007/11/so-far.html

Sunday, November 4, 2007. I have been a vegetarian for almost a year now. I don't eat eggs and I rarely drink milk. I recently decided to make the decision to become a vegan. I knew it was going to be hard, but I know I would feel so much better. My friends and I cook often. It makes cooking cheaper and a lot more fun. I decided to document some of my successes and failures. So here goes it. Tomato Sauce (I used two boxes or a can). Mushrooms (I use roughly 4 large slices of portabello Mushrooms). Add fl...

The Raw Vegan Princess: May 2006

http://veganmuffinprincess.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html

The Raw Vegan Princess. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. I had you fooled, didn't I? You all thought "hmm, she must not have made muffins on Friday like she normally does." Would I do that? Me, the muffin princess? Of course not - I couldn't get through the week without my muffin friday. And it was a paricularly enjoyable one this week because I made a big splash out at the shop and bought real maple syrup - from a tree! I don't know why, but I associate maple syrup with autumn - can anyne suggest why? This made 8...

Healthy living and healthy eating. Mostly eating. Vegan vs. Vegetarian. There’s a Tea for That. About Organic & Fair Trade. Non-Dairy Cream Cheese Recipe. March 30, 2015. I’ve had tofu sitting, unopened in my fridge for about a month. The shelf life is six weeks to two months but I didn’t want to wait that long to do something with it. I didn’t feel like cooking it, so my next immediate thought was “cream cheese”. I am a huge fan of Chicago Diner. And modified it to make this non dairy cream cheese recipe.
