BrockTalk: The Story of Pat Dapuzzo
http://brocktalkcanada.blogspot.com/2009/11/story-of-pat-dapuzzo.html
Observations on sports, from the perspective of "BrockTalk" Jackson. Saturday, November 7, 2009. The Story of Pat Dapuzzo. I've been meaning to get this story out to the masses for a while but I've just been a little busy moving to do so. But now that I'm settled, I'll pass it on. When I first saw the incident back in February, I was sickened by what I saw. Rather than me tell you the story, I'll let Dapuzzo tell the story to you in his own words. All the best to Pat Dapuzzo and his ongoing recovery.

BrockTalk: November 2009
http://brocktalkcanada.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Observations on sports, from the perspective of "BrockTalk" Jackson. Saturday, November 28, 2009. The Toronto Maple Leafs can wait no longer and they've decided that a change has to be made. Despite their somewhat inspired play of late, the braintrust (? At MLSE has had enough, and made a drastic move to try to turn around the fourtunes of their sad-sack hockey team. They've fired.Carlton the Bear. For 20 years, Carlton has poured his heart and soul into the Leafs, and THIS is how they repay him? There a...

Observations on sports, from the perspective of "BrockTalk" Jackson. Friday, July 31, 2009. Dead"line far from dead. The only trade deadline in Major League Baseball that really matters came and went today. Sure there are other MLB trade deadlines as the season goes on (I think there are 18 more! But today's deadline is the only one in which trades can be made without having to put players through waivers. To the ChiSox (what? He just rejected a trade to them a few months ago! In their next game. Yesterd...

BrockTalk: Top 5 Moments Of The Decade That Didn't Happen
http://brocktalkcanada.blogspot.com/2009/12/top-5-moments-of-decade-that-didnt.html
Observations on sports, from the perspective of "BrockTalk" Jackson. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Top 5 Moments Of The Decade That Didn't Happen. One thing that really grinds my gears (thanks Peter Griffin) this time of year is the best/worst of the year lists. This year, it's especially grinding because there are the best/worst of the DECADE lists as well. 5 September 29, 2004 had been just another day on the calendar - Such a sad day, when the Montreal Expos ceased to exist, and moved to Washington.
