I really wanted to make her version but didn't have the exact ingredients on hand. I needed a bit more flour than the recipe called for too, They turn out almost cake like, perfectly moist and oh so yummy. Chocolate Toffee Apple Scones. 1/3 cup brown sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/3 cup butter cut up and frozen.
