Fox Point, Mill Cove, Birchy Head and The Lodge. The settlement of Fox Point begins as soon as you leave Highway #3 at Hubbards and take Highway #329. This community is spread along the shore of St. Margaret's Bay from Hubbards to Mill Cove. There is a pretty harbour, sheltering the boats of a busy fishing community. Hubbards is about 45 kilometres south west of Halifax on Highway #3. It is a thriving community by the ocean, with good shopping facilities. Hubbards also has a beautiful harbour (Hubbards Cove). For accommodation try the Hubbards Cove. Web site, Anchorage House. Just east of Hubbards on Highway #3 is Queensland Beach, another favourite spot in summer. And the Dauphinee Inn.

North West Cove, South West Cove and Aspotogan. If you wish to stay at North West Cove you have two choices. The Orange House. A century old residence that has been beautifully restored, or Greyrock by the Sea. There are a few residences along the road, so watch for children playing. There is also a lake in which you can swim. Should your car break down while in this area, JEFF's AUTO is located on the South West Cove road (902) 228-2713). After all these months of training, countless spin classes, hours and hours on the stationary bike and some time riding the roads it is coming down to less than three weeks.
