Hearts and Bees: About Us!
http://heartsandbees.blogspot.com/p/about-us.html
We're Ali and Kelly, the creators of Hearts and Bees, a new pattern company! We've been friends for a few years and recently got together for a girls' sewing weekend. When Ali showed Kelly her recent quilt mock up, the conversation went something like this:. I'm going to make it in Cotton and Steel basics. Kelly: Oh my gosh! It's going to be beautiful! How do you construct that block? Kelly: (with scrunched up nose) That's nice, but I'd never take the time to make it. I'm way too lazy! Follow Us on IG.

Quiltycat: I love Handpiecing!
http://quiltycat-quiltycat.blogspot.com/2014/11/i-love-handpiecing.html
Love all that wonderful colour! Those are great fun blocks! There are many things that are better done by hand. They will probably last a lot longer than those things that are fused and machine-appliqued too. These are fantastic love your colour picks cant wait to see it finished. Tuppence Ha'penny Quilts: July 2013
http://tuppencehapennyquilts.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 15 July 2013. I have had a busy few days, sewing wise. On Monday, I realised the birthday I've had since Christmas to make a quilt for was less than a week away! Cue some slightly panicked piecing, some less panicked unpicking, and some late nights - 1.45am in particular on Thursday. I understand the birthday boy was so pleased with it he has insisted on taking it to bed with him tonight - cos you need a quilt in 30' heat! Today was spent getting my stuff ready for Retreat, and then this evening ...

Tuppence Ha'penny Quilts: Shame, shame, shame
http://tuppencehapennyquilts.blogspot.com/2014/04/shame-shame-shame.html
Tuesday, 8 April 2014. Shame, shame, shame. Back in the days when I was a PA and when we went on to have our own business, I was an organised person. Slightly less so these days (ok, stop spluttering, I CAN hear you! But one area where I have always been hopeless is post. Where post is concerned, I am the worst friend / sister / daughter / auntie going. Things are never on time, if they arrive at all. But it is my resolution for 2014 to get better at it. It's not going entirely well so far. Anyway, I hav...

My Crafty Crap: June 2012
http://my-crafty-crap.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. It's been so long since I shared a WIP Wednesday, I'm happy to have a big update this week! Surprisingly I'm really not working on a whole lot right now, but I'm spending a lot of time working on Coop's quilt. My main goal is to get it done by Coop's birthday in August, something that I was starting to doubt I'd be able to do, but now I'm hoping to get it finished up by next week. I've made a lot of progress! I finished up the quilting on Sunday, and am working on the binding now.

the plaid scottie: February 2013
http://www.plaidscottie.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Today is . . February 25, 2013. I have a group of really tight-knit online quilty friends that are there for me through thick and thin. We encourage each other, share photos of WIP's and give feedback when one of us is "stuck" artistically, and provide a shoulder to cry on when one of us hits a rough patch. Basically, it's a kickass group of women, and I thank my lucky stars for them every day :). Last year we met up in Nashville. And this year we went to Ali's. Here is the sum of our swap loot. Quilt an...

Patchwork Jitka: Chňapky do školy - Potholders go to school
http://patchworkjitka.blogspot.com/2015/02/chnapky-do-skoly-potholders-go-to-school.html
Patchwork a quilt z Uherského Hradiště. Quilts 2012 - 2014. Deky na prodej - Quilts for sale. Pondělí 9. února 2015. Chňapky do školy - Potholders go to school. Zadání: něco jednoduchého do školy.

Judith Handmade Treasures: August 2012
http://judithhandmadetreasures.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 28, 2012. A while back I came across a pattern for some slippers to make as Christmas gifts for my girls. Time passed and I could not find the blog where the tutorial was posted. So I searched and found a tutorial from Shabby Raggy Roses. And her tutorial is simple to follow. I just loved her post. Here is what I came up with Janelle's tutorial. Ballet Slippers from Shabby Raggy Roses. I have four girls and four grand-daughters to make these beauties for holiday gifts. I just love them!
