Lesley Mitchell makes artists books, paintings, prints, and mixed media works on paper, and shows her work regularly throughout the region. She has taught printmaking and works on paper classes at the PA Academy of the Fine Arts and other area institutions, and currently teaches private classes. Dance is a frequent theme of her visual artwork, a subject she knows intimately through her background in movement and social dance. She has studied, danced and taught Argentine Tango for many years.
