ASSIST is a federally registered charity that raises money to help cover the costs for financially vulnerable families who have difficulty affording to register their children in local minor sports associations. Since it began in 2007, the initiative has raised over $80,000 and placed more than 300 children in local minor sports organizations ranging from hockey and football to baseball and cycling.
