Mardi 16 mars 2010. الخبيزة نبتة برية ، موجودة في جميع الفصول وفي جميع أنحاء العالم ، في الحقول الغير مزروعة وعلى حافة الطرقات. عرفت نبتة الخبيزة منذ القدم ، فاستعملها الإغريق كطعام ودواء، وقد اشتهر الفيلسوف الرياضي الإغريقي فيتاغورس بحبه للخبيزة،إلى خد اعتبارها نبتة مقدسة. كما اعتبر اليونانيون الخبيزة ، علاجا لكل الأمراض ومن هنا جاءت التسمية. في الحدائق للفائدة الغذائية والطبية وكذلك للزينة. مستخلص للجذور قد اُستُخدِمَ لمعالجة الحمى و لتقليل ضغط الدم.
