A Steadfast Life: December 2014
http://asteadfastlife.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Favorite Books Read in 2014. This year I tallied up 33 books read, which is probably about half (and then some! This was my favorite. The writing was just beautiful. The cover is lovely. It is a WW2 story. I will admit some disappointment with the end . . . just that I would have liked to see it end in a different manner. But still it remains this year's fave. And it was just a really good story. (I am so good at book reports . . .) ;o). Sunday, December 28, 2014. On this st...
A Steadfast Life: March 29-April 4
http://asteadfastlife.blogspot.com/2015/04/march-29-april-4.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. We watched "Cars" (it had been awhile). Owen was inspired to pull out all of our "Cars" vehicles and re-enact movie scenes. In fact he packed a backpack to take them all to Lincoln with him on this Sunday. First true spring signs! Baby fresh out of the bath, trying to see what he can take from Daddy's school bag. Silly, sweet, imaginative Owen. ;o). Giving the kitties their love. The unfurling of the leaves! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Andy and Anna's Family Blog.
A Steadfast Life: November 2014
http://asteadfastlife.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. The boys built their own "board game" out of Legos. There was dice rolling and they played it all day (but that is about all I can tell you). ;o). Teasing August with some pumpkin pie. Not quite yet buddy . . . I am thankful for surprises. The first top tooth loss- just in time for Christmas! Perhaps the other one will go too and then we can legitimately sing the song . . . Hansmeyer cousins- a whole bunch of little people (and some not so little . . .) in a row! And yes, Chris...
A Steadfast Life: September 2014
http://asteadfastlife.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Remembering just how much I love this time of year. The litter of six that joined us in August has been not looking so good- mattery eyes, worn out, etc. Our neighbor (who we rent this house from) is what Josh would call a "grown-up Bella" and as she had recently nursed some kittens back to health I told Bella to ask her for some advice. Not only did she tell her what to do but gave her a whole bucket of supplies to use! Ushering in fall with apple cider donuts for snack!
A Steadfast Life: April 19-25
http://asteadfastlife.blogspot.com/2015/04/april-19-25.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. A happy 36th birthday to Josh- he is sporting his birthday gift. He loves all the funny science shirts I find for him. ;o). My Emmett boy loves to bring me flowers. I don't mind a bit. Howe I adore them! And did you know my favorite cleaning brand Mrs. Meyers has a lilac scent this spring? It isn't too shabby- I got mine at Target). Because when you give a baby a cape you have to help him fly. Finding Waldo is serious business. I get a kick out of Joshs t-shirts, too! Links for 2...

B-log: November 2013
http://beckyhansmeyer.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 30, 2013. December Photo Project Kickoff. Well, well, well.long time, no blog! Since I last posted, in- what was it? Oh yeah, July. I turned 26, Louie and I celebrated our first anniversary, I got to visit my family in Connecticut and attend my cousin Stephanie's wedding, I watched one of my best friends get married to her. Best friend, and I went under the lasers for some good ol' LASIK eye surgery. How's that for a summary? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
Proverbs 17:22: put up a fight...
http://snickjake.blogspot.com/2014/05/put-up-fight.html
We know to be true. Monday, May 26, 2014. Put up a fight. In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following. Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. First glance at the inside of that Precious Book. She should know better! I know that my flesh is...
The Bean (and Bug) Journal: Sister and Brother
http://thereinhards.blogspot.com/2014/07/sister-and-brother.html
Thursday, July 3, 2014. The proper set-up for watching a movie. A baby holding a baby holding a baby. Climbing through a sunny day. Cleaning the stairwells. Their "favorite thing to do at church". Still small enough to ride in the world's most unwieldy carts. Two different ways to "help" Mommy with the garage sale. At the dentist. Court is wide-eyed and impressed with Luca's bravery. A relic in the park. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ www.ihcc.org/. Camping at Wildwood Lake.
The Bean (and Bug) Journal: A Little Bit of Court...
http://thereinhards.blogspot.com/2014/07/a-little-bit-of-court.html
Thursday, July 3, 2014. A Little Bit of Court. Making friends with a puppy at the Dropzone. He still loves hats. Darth Vader with Spiderman sunglasses. Too cool for words. Not his best outfit but still pretty cute. Legos are the BEST. He wandered into the kitchen and said "Oh no Mommy! My arm is broke.". Just not exciting enough to keep him awake. Mommy will you take a picture of me in my helmet, because I love you.". Sometimes he seems so grown up and others, he's still a little baby boy.

MommyConnection: October 2009
http://tiffany-mommyconnection.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 22, 2009. I must be doing something right. We were in town tonight after a volleyball game and as we were pulling out of the parking lot, we heard sirens. Any time we hear sirens, Luke says, "Mom! Is someone in trouble? Do you think someone needs help? Tonight was no different, except he followed with saying, "Mom, maybe we should pray for those people that are in trouble." Amen, Luke. You've got it right. You've got it 100%, without a doubt, right. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Last Sunda...

MommyConnection: December 2009
http://tiffany-mommyconnection.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 29, 2009. My precious one-year old. My labor was easy with you and when Dr. Mahoney said, "Hi, Katelyn! I cried. I knew it. My heart was filled with joy. Not only had God blessed me with a beautiful little baby girl, but He trusted me to be your mommy. We were love-struck. Luke even loved you. When he saw you, he said, "Hi, Katelyn. My name is Luke. I'm your big brother and I'm going to teach you everything I know.". Happy birthday, baby. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. As most of you know,...

Sunday, September 27, 2009. Fabulously Fullfilled-and Fabulously Broke. This past weekend was the weekend of all weekends. It's the weekend I look forward to the minute it's over until the beginning of the next weekend the following year. It's the friends. It's the food. It's the shopping. Every year, my friends that I went to college with and I meet for a girls' shopping weekend, and let me tell you, it's glorious. Here's a brief history of how the shopping weekends have matured:. Lord, please not me.

MommyConnection: June 2010
http://tiffany-mommyconnection.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 4, 2010. Katelyn is at that age where she says new words every day. She just amazes me. She tries to keep up with Luke, often giving him a hard time, but mostly watching his every move. Last night, she said "milk" with the "k" sound and all. She is in full toddler mode with a definite pre-2-year-old attitude. She's a great screamer, loves to run away from me.very quickly, I might add, and exclaims "NO! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Pioneer Woman - Full RSS Feed. Enjoying the Small Things.

Wednesday, September 15, 2010. What was your first record? Not tape. Not CD. To this day, Dad still has a ton of records and a fairly decent player. Most of his older records (mostly Wings and the Beatles) were able to be salvaged after the tornado and some are goodies he happened to find at garage sales every now and then. What am I saying? He's obsessed. If there's a garage sale with records advertised, he's there. He's the FIRST one there. Off of e-bay. It is pure joy, I tell you. Pure joy. I brought ...

A Steadfast Hope
Monday, August 1, 2011. In all the years of my childhood I don't think I ever read through the Bible. I knew Old Testament stories and the valuable lessons they taught, and I knew the New Testament stories and the truth of the Gospel. I memorized Scripture and received an award: a Bible (which I still have on my shelf! I knew from a young age that I would be a preacher, and once in Bible college I studied the Scriptures. I just wish I had studied a little more diligently then. To love me. I was seeki...

A Steadfast Life
Saturday, July 2, 2016. The official good bye to our big, gray house. We had 13 months to love on this place and we will miss it. It was really just the perfect home for us. Never-the-less, we are thankful for God's provision of a new family for this home and how quickly we were able to close this chapter as we prepare for the next one. Lots of fun had by these guys down at the creek finding all sorts of fun creatures. Heading to a wedding selfie. Saturday, June 25, 2016. Just a busy, busy moving week.
A Steadfast Light
Saturday, April 5, 2014. Only by the grace and mercy of the Lord. Only by the grace and mercy of the Lord [fill in the blank]. Basically, my boss and I were discussing how we've gotten where we are today; our relationships with Christ, our wives, families, jobs, and so on.As he and I shared with each other about our (and our families') history, the recurring thought of, " only by the grace and mercy of the Lord.". To start, it is only by the grace and mercy of the Lord. Since that accident in May 1999, t...
steadfastlove | let us love and sing and wonder
Let us love and sing and wonder. December 9, 2009. There is nothing better than waking up to a warm room and a blanket of snow on the window sill. Then you realise it’s going to rain later. And all you can do is pray that that doesn’t happen, that the Weather Man is wrong, as he often is. Even if, you know, the forecast says there is 100% chance it’ll rain. I will be fine; just say you’ll stay forever mine ’til we fall asleep tonight. December 5, 2009. And can it be? 8211; one day, 4 the next. Add your t...
