Residential New Construction: Modern Weekender Home. This modern home was built on the west side of Manhattan as a weekender home for K-State fans. We love the clean lines of the modern style, but also included some contemporary furnishings to add pops of color and unique shapes. Summer project #1…. One thing always seems to lead to another….in my case, this project that we lovingly call “our home” hurdled me down a path that has been a huge surprise…I am now one half of an interior design business! AsterHouse Design, LLC was born out of my great love for great design and my seeming non-stop obsession with all things “home”!
