Wednesday, October 18, 2006. The surgeon decided that although she has multiple fractures, Cali's little skull is very stable and will not require any surgical stabilization. Her head is going to be a little misshapen, but as long as the good part underneath in intact, I can live with it. Cali is coming home this afternoon! I am a little scared about having to take care of her by myself, but happy to have the doggy critical care unit off the payroll. I will take some "after" photos to post.

I mentioned to the vet that her tail seems to hurt her sometimes. We laughed that after all of the head trauma it would be her tail that is bothering her.
