As The Fermata Holds. Monday, October 22, 2012. So I am going on two.yes, two.vacations over the next 2 weeks. I think that is a little crazy, but I'm doing it and I am sure that it is going to be awesome. I am going to the International Quilt Market in Houston, followed by a trip to Disneyland. But tweaked it a little to fit my needs. I ended up adding extra pockets, a longer strap, and a flap. So, it's kind of a purse/messenger bag hybrid, if you will. Here are some pictures. As The Fermata Holds. Monday, September 24, 2012. Sunday we celebrated a 96th birthday - that is when you add 70 and 26 together. Happy Birthdays Mom and Breanne! We had our requisite family birthday dinner which was rounded out by two birthday desserts. Mom has been wanting to try making this Coconut Cake. Recipe, so we did. We made chocolate frosting instead of coconut, but if we make again, I think we will make the coconut frosting instead. Here's how it turned out. You should try it.it's delicious.

I made a similar quilt for a friend a few weeks before Christmas and my dad kept complaining that I was giving it away, so I decided to make one just for him. It was 3 inches deep here by the bedroom window where Ben and I began dumping sand to try and divert the water away from the house. Which kind of worked, but there was a lot of water to move. Whenever I hear this scripture I automatically think of speaking a foreign language and serving missions. I never thought it applied to me, or to a lot of the church members, and that confused me. DAY4: Sunday morning we woke up to a delicious breakfast of Blueberry Riccotta Cheese Pancakes with homemade warm honey syrup- yep it was as good as it sounds. We got ready and went to another ward's sacrament meeting (we had to leave before Mat and Andi's church began), came home for a lunch of Nachos and then headed out as they went to church. It was so wonderful to see everyone and hard to leave (even knowing we would see them in a few short months).
