GUMBO AND GRITS: September 2012
http://gumboandgrits.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2012. FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF TODAY. Last Wednesday I was crossing the parking lot, going into church, when I tripped and fell. Mortification beyond belief. Off I went to hospital in an ambulance. This being LSU territory, the EMT told me that the highlight of his day was cutting off my Alabama shirt. And being on church property, I bit my tongue and told him to kiss my grits. I fractured my shoulder! Made some cools snaps. Here they are:. The kids have two dogs: Marley and Libby&...

GUMBO AND GRITS: WE MADE IT!
http://gumboandgrits.blogspot.com/2012/08/we-made-it.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. Thanks to so many prayers and great help, we have come through Hurricane Isaac. Parts of Mississippi and Louisiana did not fare as well. They are still faced with terrible flooding and other problems associated with hurricanes. There is the possibility of a dam breaking in Mississippi and a levee in Plaquemines Parish (we don't have counties here) was deliberately breached to help with flooding. Thank you all again for your prayers and kind thoughts. We made it okay. So glad to r...

Saturday, October 29, 2011. TUSAL AND SOME KNITTING. David Beckham, eat your heart out! This is the slouchy hat I stitched up this week. It doesn't really look like it, but it fits pretty good. I'm working on a beret now. I did this one for the game next weekend, but it looks like the weather is going to be pretty bad, so Michael may inherit this one. It's in crimson and white, of course! Hope you all are staying warm! Tuesday, October 25, 2011. We also have a new member of the family in Tuscaloosa. ...

http://irenesstitchingcorner.blogspot.com/2010/10/wow-8-months.html
Thursday, 14 October 2010. Wow, 8 months. Since posting on my blog. Life has a nasty habit of getting in the away. Still fighting the big C, I am still here, so I am winning I guess. Thankfully, I am over my long stitching slump. Just finished Irish Blessing and nearly done with my current project. With a bit of luck I can get them both off to the framer next week. I do love a new start. No compulsion to tackle the UFO/WIP's as yet. Here is Irish Blessing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wow, 8 months.
