Τετάρτη, 22 Απριλίου 2009. 3η Πανελλήνια Εξόρμηση Ερασιτεχνών Αστρονόμων. Όποιος επιθυμεί να πάρει μέρος στην 3η Πανελλήνια Εξόρμηση Ερασιτεχνών Αστρονόμων. Στης 26-27-28 Ιουνίου μαζί με την λέσχη μας τον Ε.Λ.Φ.Ε.ΑΣ, παρακαλώ να στείλει ένα e-mail. Με τα στοιχεία του (Ονοματεπώνυμο/Εξοπλισμό αλλά και σε τι επιθυμεί να μείνει καταφύγιο η σκηνή). Κυριακή, 26 Απριλίου 2009. Εξόρμηση αστροπαρατήρησης από την Ε.Λ.Φ.Ε.ΑΣ στο Σούνιο (25/04/2009). Με επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε η χτεσινή εξόρμηση αστροπαρατήρησης στο Σούνιο των μελών και φίλων της Ε.Λ.Φ.Ε.ΑΣ. Από νωρίς το απόγευμα συγκεντρώθηκαν οι φίλοι της αστρονομίας στο Λαύριο από όπου αναχώρησαν όλοι μαζί για το σημείο παρατήρησης στο Σούνιο. Η χτεσινή συνάντηση υπήρξε μια καλή αφορμή για ανταλλαγή απόψεων, συζήτηση και φυσικά γνωριμία μεταξύ των ερασιτεχνών αστρονόμων. Photo by Stathis Mexias.

Τρίτη, 17 Φεβρουαρίου 2009. Γαλαξίες ονομάζονται τα τεράστια βαρυτικά συστήματα αστέρων , γαλαξιακών αερίων, αστρικής σκόνης και (πιθανά) αόρατης σκοτεινής ύλης. Αν και η λεγόμενη σκοτεινή ύλη φαίνεται να αποτελεί περίπου το 90% της μάζας των περισσοτέρων γαλαξιών, η φύση αυτών των αόρατων στοιχείων δεν είναι πλήρως κατανοητή. Υπάρχουν κάποιες ενδείξεις ότι υπερμεγέθεις μαύρες τρύπες μπορεί να υπάρχουν στο κέντρο πολλών, αν όχι όλων των γαλαξιών. Το διαγαλαξιακό κενό, που βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στους γαλαξίες...

Τρίτη, 16 Ιουνίου 2009. Εκδήλωση σε σχολείο για το αστρονομικό έτος 2009! Η Λέσχη μας με αφορμή το αστρονομικό έτος 2009 θα πραγματοποιήσει εκδήλωση σε σχολείο ( Λύκειο ) στον Δήμο Αγ. Βαρβάρας. και συγκεκριμένα λίγο πιο κάτω από το Praktiker του Αιγάλεω (παραθέτω φωτογραφίες). Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί τελικός την Πέμπτη 18 Ιουνίου στις 8μμ το απόγευμα. Όποιος θέλει και μπορεί να έρθει, με το τηλεσκόπιο η χωρίς, να στείλει ένα e-mail για περαιτέρω επικοινωνία και οδηγίες. Astronomy Picture of the Day.
