Josh and I discovered this the other day when we were chatting, and she started to put a blanket over her face. (She was sitting up, so no smothering was going on.) She also learned recently what a stethoscope looks like, and one day she pick up one of our phone charger cords, put it around her neck (loosely), called it her "step-ee-scope," and put it up to my chest to listen for a heart beat. The girls are almost always up around 6 or 6:30. My body is used to that schedule, so of course, I have been up for a little bit. But it is so nice to have my own time. She used her creative juices and started banging the marker against the tape and called it an instrument. We got to take the girls to the check ups this month. They are both healthy and happy! Both girls are huge though. Here's the stats so Eric can compare :). I love watching the girls together. We also had the Williams and Youngs come visit as well. I just love her eyes and how focused they look. Aren't they just so sweet? Zoe is so patient with LaNea and LaNea tries so hard to be a great big sister! Zoe has been such an angel with sleeping as well as she does.

Friday, December 11, 2009. This year taking Rachel to see Santa was a breeze. She freaked out last year and was screaming in the picture. This year we told her that Santa was like a grandpa so she wouldn't be afraid. She sat on his lap and snuggled right into him. She even smiled! She never smiles when we ask. Friday, April 14, 2017. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. West Elm Knock Off: Gray Striped Shower Curtain. This is a knock-off I made of a Sriped Shower curtain I saw at West Elm and had to have. I made it by piecing together 10" strips cut from gray and white sheets. You probably don't need an explanation of how I did it, it's so basic, but here it is, as long as I took the pictures. Then sewed them together with 1/2 inch seams resulting in 9" finished strips x 9 total strips= 81 inches total before hemming.
