Sharing my journey as the wife of an army chaplain. Friday, February 19, 2010. We have an RFO! Read: We actually have *in writing* where we're going next! We'll be headed out to Ft. Lewis, Washington in May. Ft. Lewis is near Tacoma, about an hour from Seattle. By all accounts it's a gorgeous place to live, albeit far far far away from family. In April we'll be celebrating 5 years of marriage. and in that time, this will be our 6th move. ah, the Army life. Sunday, February 07, 2010. Ransom, 5 months.

Easier said than done. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. I'm struggling tonight to be content. I came to grips with a reality tonight and I'm really struggling to be content with the conclusion of the matter. It's not that big of a deal, just disappointment. Part of me wants to sit and wallow in the disappointment while the rest of me wants to push it aside and pretend it doesn't exist until having to deal with it. Neither one changes reality. I had an ironic lunch today with the boys. organic apple slices and organic carrot sticks to dip in Trader Joe's sunbutter with a few organic corn chips - oh and candy corn (loaded with all sorts of artificial everything) for dessert. Oh well, right. It's one of the few commercially produced candies Ryan can eat due to the allergies, so it's an easy splurge. Everyone has days like that.enjoy em! I know I do! And Ill bet the boys LOVED it!

I haven't spent this much concentrated time with my mom since I was in high school. It's an adventure to say the least. August 11, 2015. Well, I head back to work tomorrow and Ava is back in daycare full time. We ended our summer vacation with a busy weekend. Matt went hunting Friday so Ava and I went to Chuck E Cheese and then made some canvas art for my office! On Saturday, I went bridal dress shopping with a friend while Matt and Ava hung out, and then Sunday we went on the boat! It felt so good to be back out on the water! Now bring on the slightly cooler weather, football season, and fall holidays! August 2, 2015.
