http://skileskatharine.blogspot.com/2013/01/of-stars.html
Wednesday, 16 January 2013. This week I'm thinking about friends. And Simply, I don't know what I would do without my friends. And speaking of friends, my friend Laura Lee has this wonderful blog called A Tad Bookish, and I loved her post this week. Please read it here. It ties in with this beautiful book about work that I'm reading called Crossing the Unknown Sea by David Whyte. After months of working in the Galapagos as a Naturalist, he's contemplating what's ahead of him and he writes,.

Tuesday, 31 July 2012. The Calgary Folk Festival. Today I am thinking about all kinds of things. I'm thinking about the random things I really love, like podcasts and movie trailers and bar-noculars. Dan and I were gifted our own pair of bar-noculars on our recent trip to Ontario by Nate and Dana, (who are basically the best people in the world.) Dana found them while going through her grandmother's estate. We took the bar-noculars on their virgin run this weekend to the Calgary Folk Festival. Shoooooogl...

Wednesday, 30 January 2013. Bright shiny new things. It's still dark outside. Cold. I'm tucked under a cozy blanket. I've always loved the lonely way of morning. Just me and the darkness and my coffee and the blanket. Somehow this time of day seems to belong to me a little bit more than the rest. Good morning. :). This week I am thinking about doing new things. Things that drum up the heart. That scare us through and through. I found so many inspiring things. This video by M83. M83 'Wait' Official video.

My Mother's Attic. A Mother’s All-Star Memoir. Finding the woman within, one toothpick at a time. January 28, 2015. January 30, 2015. By Martha Mattingly Payne. Ok, so she had good genes. Her parents lived into their nineties, too, but I can’t help but think there was more to it than that. What was it about this lady (she was above all, a lady) that made her so resilient? So join me. I’d love the company as I journey into the dingy corners of this moldy and mysterious place, my mother’s attic. January 29...

Air It Out – My Mother's Attic
https://mymothersattic3.com/2015/03/19/airing-out
My Mother's Attic. A Mother’s All-Star Memoir. March 19, 2015. March 23, 2015. By Martha Mattingly Payne. Pardon the pun but hey, who remembers the Attic Fan? The window screen was an essential in our house, a barrier both literal and figurative between the out of doors and the more orderly and in my father’s mind, superior indoor sanctuary. Much angst arose if on Attic Fan Day a screen was found to be broken beyond repair think of the pests that might enter! Bringing the outdoors in. Liked by 1 person.
