A Tale of Three Kiddies. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Aidan is a 1st grader! I officially have a child who goes to school all day. Aidan started 1st grade today, and it's another first for us. She has been gone just over one hour, and Taylor is bored to death already. It is just so strange to me that she will be gone until almost 4 pm every day. Did I do this? So that now she expects it? We haven't had much snow all year, and then the day Terry and I were scheduled to fly out of Denver International, it came. Our flight was one of the only ones that still flew. My two oldest kids are "in school," placed in parentheses because we're talking half-day kindergarten for Aidan and a total of six hours of preschool per week for Taylor. This is not REAL school, right? I just have to teach them things like being on time and laying out clothes and backpacks the night before.but we're not into homework territory yet or anything like that.

A Tale of Three Kiddies. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Five Going on Fifteen; or, Choices. I never wanted to raise a spoiled child (who does? And the last few weeks, we are having to work to figure out how to avoid this. My daughter is five going on fifteen, proving it on a daily basis. It makes me sad to think about how fast time is going but also so excited to watch you grow into a smart, handsome, and happy boy. Friday, February 24, 2012. We headed to the doctor on Tuesday morning and the visit revealed RSV with a spot of pneumonia on his left lung. We started preventive antibiotics for 10 days and are currently doing breathing treatments. Hudson was a trouper at the doctor's office even though he hated the xrays and the first breathing treatment. He has been feeling much better and acting like himself. We are so blessed that this is his first illness in 18 months. God is Good all the time. Jill and David Wedding.

Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Thank you to Jeremy for watching Hudson and letting me spend my whole weekend away. You are the best daddy and husband a girl could ask for. I am truly blessed! Hudson's 15 month checkup. He measured in at 27 lbs and 30 inches long placing his weight in the 80th percentile and height in the 50%. He is sleeping from 830 or 900 until 600 most days. Thursday, February 2, 2012. We have taken him to every MSU home game this year and he loves them. He cheers with the crowd, dances to the band, sings the fight song, and claps and shouts. He even occasionally boos when he hears grandpa. We are looking forward to warm weather, lots of time outside, and the lake this summer! Sunday, August 7, 2011. He was born at 4:58pm at St Johns Hospital weighing 6 lbs 10 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. He was born 3 weeks early but is doing fine.
